SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Jos Vermaseren is visiting us Dr. Jos Vermaseren from Nikhef Amsterdam is visiting the IFT for the period February 24th to 26th, 2016. His office number is 401. Jos Vermaseren's research focuses on calculations in perturbative field theory, with excursions into mathematics and computer science whenever this is needed for his main topic.
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Maxim Chernodub is visiting us Dr. Maxim Chernodub from University of Tours, France – CNRS is visiting the IFT for the period February 8th to 12th, 2016. His office number is B07. His current research interests include: Quantum Chromodynamics in strong magnetic field and anomalous transport effects in chiral systems.
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Erik Tonni is visiting us Dr. Erik Tonni from SISSA, Trieste, is visiting the IFT for the period January 25th to February 19th, 2016. His office number is B06. His research interest are: Conformal field theory, entanglement and gauge/gravity correspondence.
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Joan Simon is visiting us Dr. Joan Simon from University of Edinburgh is visiting the IFT for the period January 25th to 29th, 2016. His office number is B03. His research interest are: Quantum gravity, including black hole physics and cosmological singularities, AdS/CFT and applications, general holography, thermalisation and quantum information theory.
