David G. Cerdeño, new Beatriz Galindo Senior Fellow at UAM and IFT

David G. Cerdeño, a former member of IFT until October 2014, retakes from May 2020 his position at UAM and IFT as Beatriz Galindo Senior Fellow, after 6 years away working for IPPP Durham in UK. His research focuses on astroparticle physics and cosmology, addressing the nature of dark matter and ways to detect and identify it.

Belén Gavela appointed for Belle Program Advisory Committee and the Beate Naroska Guest Professorship

IFT professor M. Belen Gavela has been appointed member of the Belle Program Advisory Committee (BPAC). The committee provides advice and recommendations on scientific, technical and planning issues related to the B-Factory Project: the Belle experiment, SuperKEKB, and with the main focus on the progress of the Belle II experiment.
