SO(IFT) Distinguished Professor Dmitri Kharzeev, elected to The Academy of Europe

Dmitri Kharzeev, PhD, Distinguished Professor and Director of the Center for Nuclear Theory in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Sciences at Stony Brook University, has been elected a Foreign Member of The Academy of Europe.

The PhD Thesis entitled "Probing the Dark Universe with Gravitational Waves", by José María Ezquiaga, and supervised by Juan García-Bellido, has been awarded with the Real Sociedad Española de Física (RSEF) prize.
