The Institute of Theoretical Physics IFT CSIC/UAM welcomes applications to postdoctoral positions,  under the program "Atracción de talento" from Comunidad de Madrid.

There are several kinds of positions:

- junior postdoc: 4 years

- senior postdoc: 4 years + up to 200.000 euros for research activities

The Institute of Theoretical Physics IFT UAM-CSIC participates in the "La Caixa Junior Leader" program, which finances 20 3-year postdocs with additional money for research specifically for Centers of Excellence, for candidates satisfying the mobility rule, and 10 postdocs for those not.

Candidates must have obtained their doctoral degree between 2 October 2014 and 2 October 2011.

The Astroparticle Physics group at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) UAM-CSIC and the Department of Theoretical Physics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) invites applications for one PhD position in Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology, with a focus on dark matter searches.

Conditions: duration: 3 month, starting date 01.07.2017, monthly salary 2830.10 Euros (brutto)

Place: IFT (CSIC/UAM), Centro mixto de Fisica Teorica y Matematica (CFTMAT), Universidad Autonoma de Madrid

Topics:

     -Analytical calculations of the decay of NMSSM Higgs bosons, including the results into the code FeynHiggs for the numerical evaluation.

     - Numerical analysis and comparison with experimental results obtained at the LHC (CERN).

The IFT expects to have one or more openings for 2-year postdoc positions for researchers with PhD in 2012, 2013 or 2014, under the "Juan de la Cierva (JdlC) Incorporación" program of the Spanish government. Candidates must apply directly to the Spanish science ministry on Ministry official call.

The IFT expects to have one or more openings for 5-year fixed-term positions under the Ramon y Cajal (RyC) program of the Spanish government. Candidates must apply directly to the Spanish science ministry on Ministry official call.
