SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Masanori Okawa is visiting us Dr. Masanori Okawa from Hiroshima University is visiting the IFT for the period March 2nd to 16th, 2017. His office number is 401. His research interests are: Quantum field theory, especially large scale numerical simulation of Lattice QCD. Twisted space-time reduced model of large N gauge theories.
Dr. Alejandro Ibarra is visiting us Dr. Alejandro Ibarra from Technical University of Munich is visiting the IFT for the period February 13th to 17th, 2017. His office number is 301. His research interests are dark matter and neutrino physics
Dr. Sergio Hortner is visiting us Dr. Sergio Hortner from Centro de Estudios Cientificos, Chile, is visiting the IFT for the period February 1st to 28th, 2017. His office number is 214. His research interests include: hidden symmetries and dualities in gravity and supergravity, higher spin theory, gauge theory of extended objects, quantum properties of black holes and flavor physics.
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Jos Vermaseren is visiting us Dr. Jos Vermaseren from Nikhef Amsterdam is visiting the IFT for the period January 30th to February 28th, 2017. His office number is 401. Jos Vermaseren's research focuses on calculations in perturbative field theory, with excursions into mathematics and computer science whenever this is needed for his main topic.
